Ĺšteve Angeli

Angeli is the most experienced QB of the bunch both on the field and off it. Angeli is entering his redshirt junior year. If he does not win the QB battle he is the most certain transfer of the bunch. Now, if Notre Dame wants a sure thing Angeli is their man. He’s calm and cool under pressure, as shown by his drive at the end of the first half of the Penn State game. However, if Notre Dame chooses him it lowers their ceiling significantly. Angeli, as shown right now, has the ability to allow his team’s talent to win games. However, Notre Dame will most likely not win games purley because of his performances.Â
CJ Carr

CJ is the highest rated recruit of the three. He is a redshirt freshman from Michigan. He is held at high regard by both the Notre Dame staff and the local/national media. CJ spent much of his freshman year rehabbing from an elbow injury that reportedly should have no influence on his playing career. However, concerns must arise in regards to how the elbow injury has affected Carr’s development. If Carr is at his A game, both qbs would have a tough time beating him out. Carr is an elite pocket passer that elevates the players around him.
Kenny Minchey

Kenny is the most interesting player in the competition. Little is expected out of the Tennessee native, however he is not to be taken for granted. Minchey has the highest potential in my opinion of the triage. He has the arm talent that is impossible to teach. He is also very mobile as shown in the spring game. Now I doubt he has the legs of Leonard, but he does not need to. Minchey has a better arm then Leonard. He also has that moxy that very few Qbs have. He has the lowest floor of any Qb here but he also has the highest ceiling of the three. As a fan, I personally hope Minchey wins the battle.
